If you're Expecting a Token Travel Blog...

… then let’s be real… this isn’t it. Yes, I’m highlighting my (mis)adventures around the globe, but the real story is I left the States on March 20, 2024, to tackle debt, escape the unrelenting noise of a country at odds, and focus on my mental health and overall well-being. This space started as an accountability partner for those goals and has evolved into a journal of growth, messiness, and everything in between. A reminder (to myself) that I don’t need everything figured out in order to make progress.

In fact, that might just be the best part. I’m finally embracing the idea that we don’t need all the answers, or even a clear direction, to start truly living and enjoying this wild journey we’re all somehow on together. Spoiler: detours count as progress, too.

In this blog, you’ll get the real me: a sometimes sarcastic, mostly intelligent, occasionally boring, always working, extremely blunt, and slightly obsessive #OGMILLENNIAL just trying to find her place on this perfectly imperfect planet. I’m honest, I speak my mind, I cuss, and I am unapologetically me. This isn’t curated content, it’s real, unfiltered chaos with a passport. If you’re tired of the curated lifestyles, or if chaos feels like home, buckle up and join me in my latest existential crisis. Let’s get lost, and maybe, accidentally, found… together.

Bangkok Earthquake: The Matter of Moments

This was supposed to be just another simple blog and reel, highlighting the week of a regular digital nomad trying to conquer the world from the amazingly diverse and humid streets of Bangkok, Thailand. Friday’s earthquake changed that.

Forty Years Late… Yet Somehow, Right on Time

I landed in Bangkok on February 18, the day I turned 40. However, this “milestone” didn’t come with a big party or any fanfare. There was no glitzy photoshoot with an overly dramatic dress, shiny…

But What About the Food?

Okay, by now it’s pretty clear that I’m *not* your typical travel blogger. I also wasn’t blessed with a fine or discerning palate (unlike my son), and even before I went vegetarian, I was never the most adventurous eater. But…

By the Numbers: What I’ve Spent, Saved and Blown

When I originally started this series, it was meant to serve as a tracker of all money in and all money out while I embarked on my journey to pay down my debt while traveling the world. However, for various reasons the last six months have been anything but financially viable. Given this, I’ve decided to restructure…

City Guides and Travel Features

The quintessential “Know Before You Go” travel guides. While not intended to be comprehensive planning guides, these posts offer insights on all the things I didn’t think about (or even think to think about) before planning my trips. The good, the bad and the countries that want you to throw your TP in the bin and not down the toilet.

There's Always
a Reason
Not To...
Do It Anyway.

hey there...

I’m a mother, entrepreneur, and creative designer, but to be perfectly, bluntly honest with you, I’m still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. So, I’m applying the concept of a gap year (or two or three) to my life, and taking a break from the day-to-day grind of what has become a normal existence in the United States to Eat, Pray, Gym my way across the globe, chasing clarity, connection, and a little bit of chaos, on a journey to find a greater sense of self, fulfillment, and peace.

I started this blog as a means to chronicle this latest adventure: paying off debt while traveling the world and improving my mental and physical well-being. Along the way, this blog has become part travelogue, part therapy session, and part budget spreadsheet with trust issues.
